Highly recommend! We went here today as it was the only place locally open between Christmas and new year. A family meet up so was 4 adults, 4 children, 1 baby (2buggies to fit in too). Although this place is small it absolutely wasn't a problem, very friendly staff accommodated us fantastically. The food was delicious and so nicely cooked. Not greasy at all despite it being a breakfast. So fresh. Amazing hot chocolates, top notch. Then there's the staff, super helpful and getting involved with the kids in just the right way. They don't often chat to people when we go out so to have full conversations between them and the staff was lovely. Highly recommend this place. They do take away and there were delivery partners bobbing in and out too. We will definitely be back next time we're in Kempston.

Disgraceful way to treat a driver shouting and screaming at them simply for asking how much longer an order will take. I asked politely 'Excuse me, how much longer will the order be please', I had already been waiting five minutes, the shop assistant said 'five minutes' in an abrupt and dismissive tone, turned and walked away. Then the other assistant came out and said something aggressively. I asked her to repeat what she said because I couldn't understand. She told me to leave the shop and wait in my car. I told her I would not wait in my car, instead I cancelled the pick up, giving the reason 'not ready' and left the shop. If you call a driver in future, tell them from the start if there is going to be a wait. Ask them politely if you prefer them to wait in their car. Accept that they have the right to cancel if the order is not ready. Accept that they have the right to ask. Don't talk down to them. Don't be aggressive. We are human beings doing an honest job. There is no need to treat anyone in the workplace in such a rude and insulting manner. CCTV would go to prove what I am saying. You should also leave sexual discrimination out of it, the whole issue has absolutely nothing to do with whether I am female or male. If you think it has I will take you to court for discrimination in goods or services. I am self-employed, but you are providing a service to my customers through me which I am entitled to prevail of without discrimination. I have a mild hearing loss, not usually bad enough to need a hearing aid, but hearing is always more difficult when being shouted at. CCTV would prove I clearly said to you when you were shouting at me, 'Sorry, I can't understand what you are saying'. If you wanted me to wait out in the street you should have asked me quietly and politely. Also, you are breaking Google Maps policy by threatening me as a result of my honest review.

I love this place. The people who work there always have a great energy about them, the food is fantastic and is clearly made with love, and you can just tell that these guys are putting their all into something that they care about. I always see them working hard, and it's so refreshing to see a small business with real passion for what they do making their way through a world full of big businesses. They remember your face, they know what you like, and they're creative about what they do. These guys are old-school, and I wish I could give them a higher rating 👌
