Great experience. Will is a professional and very knowledgeable. I came in with a ton of mistakes from the previous barber i tried and I was very pleased. Will was able to do a perfect cut without having to start over from scratch. Been looking at my haircut all day and after having a bad haircut, it makes me appreciate a good one so much more.

Barbershop Blast Of The Past! “As I entered the door I was swiftly captivated by the quaint barbershop’s genuinely persevered vintage look and feel, which immediately let me know that this was to be the real deal. A couple steps in I was warmly greeted by the owner and his friendly and properly suited hired hands, proving class and professionalism still existed in these often uncouth lands! The shop had been open for over twenty years and ran by the same cheerful cookie loving man, who let it be known that he was Insomnia Cookies biggest fan. He even bought all his staff a delectable cookie, even getting one for what seemed to be their latest and very observant rookie! Straightaway I was politely instructed that Keysha could cut my hair next, which caught me off guard and had me momentarily perplexed. For in my defense I’m so accustom to being serviced by a male barber, but I respectfully ensured her that ill will for female barbers was something I did not at all harbor! And although in my experience female barbers get a bad reputation, by the look of her work on her current customer she was warranted a standing ovation. Her use of a straight razor was that of a seasoned vet, so I knew to my hairs on my chinny chin chin she posed no threat! Once finished with the gentleman straightaway Keysha did something I absolutely respect and admired, and that was honestly informing me of the price for the services I so desperately required. For you see I hadn’t been cleaned up in quite some time, but she’d soon be taking me from my current appearance of an unruly werewolf and restoring me back to my handsome prime! Before sitting down I was both verbally and visually instructed not to step on the masterfully maintenance and beautifully maintained vintage chairs, which I would later learn was to prevent unnecessary ware and costly repairs. Which I understood and showed me that they took pride in not only the shops curated appearance, but also taking the necessary steps to prevent its untimely disappearance! I then showed Keysha pictures of what I wanted to have done while at the same time giving her freedom to perform her own adaptations, sitting back in the surprisingly comfy chair as I read the shops interesting signage and regulations. The posted rules let me know this was a classy establishment free of profanity and any other vulgarity, which in today’s world was a breath of fresh air and a welcoming rarity! In typical barbershop fashion we shared stories and a good laugh, learning about her cherished pooch as well as her talents and love of the craft. As we continued chatting about this and that, she even fulfilled my request to cut my beard perfectly to ensure that it hide my neck fat! All in all Keysha turned out to be quite the barber extraordinaire, but that’s what you’d expect from someone who put in the time and effort of going to school to cut and stylize not only women’s but also men’s hair. Seriously I can’t wholeheartedly recommend her and Sin’s Fade and Shave Barbershop enough, and that’s me being genuinely sincere and not some paid bluff!”

Been going to Kay at the Fade And Shave for over 5 hrs now and nobody else touches my hair. Im a very picky person and when I moved back to this area I couldn't find a decent haircut for many tries until I stumbled upon here. And Kay. She is very meticulous and artistic. She is a "men's hair magician " and will be mine for as long as she's in the trade.

Calm, relaxed, vintage, classic old school feel that takes you back; all the while modern and up to date. Crisp and clean shop!! CLEAN, CLEAN,CLEAN! Including the exterior of the shop.Various restored chairs, cabinets, lather machines (for shaving) ALL still in use. No loud music. No profanity. Calm conversation and relaxed atmosphere. My son’s haircut came out fantastic. Upon leaving I was thanked for our business and was told “Welcome to the Shop”. Glad to see standards are being saved, maintained, and respected. Can’t wait to head back for the full wet shave which they offer as well.
