I try to say something positive about the places we stop for breakfast as breakfast spots are few and far between. I'm positive I won't be coming back here. I ordered the Greek omelet that turned out to be heavy on the tomatoes no feta and what tasted like unwashed fresh spinach, not even cooked. The home fries (potatoes) were hard not cooked. The only thing that was good was the coffee and the bathroom was clean. The decor was cute. I feel bad that this restaurant is supposed to depict a farmer's restaurant/ table. This is not that.

I'd never want to trash a local business but today I have no choice. This seems like a nice family owned business but they have no idea how to run a restaurant. 1. Service; the service was mediocre at best. Ordered sausage that never came. Server responded "oh you did" when I told her I ordered sausage. I waited 15 minutes for the bill to be corrected and have the sausage removed. I ended just leaving and paying for the bill. She never came back with an updated bill or Togo boxes for our food. 2. The food, we ordered all at the same time and 2 of our dishes were incorrect. Breakfast burger was made without bacon and the side of scrambled eggs had no cheese. Not to mention all the food came out several minutes apart. The chicken wings came out after everyone was already done eating. Im not sure who's managing but they should be more present in the dining room these are all easily fixable issues.

Been looking for a new breakfast spot in the Springfield, Ma area? Visit The Farmer's Restaurant at 600 Belmont Ave. Warmly welcomed and able to choose your own table or have the ability to walk up and order at the counter and see a view of some of the available lunch fare already ready. Breakfast, lunch, dinner to choose from for a visit. Stopped in for breakfast and had a perfectly cooked meat lovers omelet with nicely seasoned home fries and a side of beef pastallilos. The lunch menu looked delicious and inviting along with a very friendly staff and owner which will lead me to visit again.
