The Finish Line is the absolute best Beauty Salon I have ever had the pleasure to frequent. I lived in the Halifax/Dartmouth area for many years and had many experiences , not all good. Upon moving to the South Shore I had to find a Hairdresser, stressful ! I was lucky to find The Finish Line and Sylvia Ali as my Hair Stylist. The experience from the moment you arrive until you leave relaxed and happy, is a fantastic. It is like going to a friend's home where you receive expert advise and are treated royally. I completely agree with all of these positive reviews! After reading other comments, I reached out online to see if I could get an appointment at the Finish Line. I’m from out of town, so I was delighted when half an hour after my inquiry I had a callback and a next day appointment! I needed a colour correction and Sylvia listened carefully to what I was hoping to accomplish. She then worked skillfully and creatively to transform a poorly done previous colour into an artful blending of colour that is just PERFECT. The head massage during the shampoo and the massage chair while waiting for the colour to develop were wonderful added touches to make this a great experience. Both Sylvia and Shayla were welcoming, Covid-conscientious, friendly and professional. I would highly recommend this salon!
