When I initially signed up to work with Shantel she was very sweet and seemed honest. However, her personality did not match the integrity and ethics of the company. To begin, her team or her never did my historical bookkeeping that was paid for yet they completed tax paperwork. When asked about my bookkeeping I never gained access. Then when I looked at my taxes there fraud done on multiple places on the tax forms. For example it stated that I went to college when I graduated with my doctoral degree in 2018. This was an attempt to get me a tax credit for college to increase my refund. When I pointed this out to her she apologized and blamed it on her team. Additionally, Shantel applied for a business grant for me. She confirmed I received the grant and I would be contacted to setup my account to receive payment. I'm sure it's no coincidence that I never received that email so that I can receive the grant award. It's been a few months now and still no refund for what I paid. At this point my attorneys have to get involved, as their is enough proof for everything. This company is a scam and the low ratings on Google review is true. I feel so bad writing this about another black woman owned business. But no one deserves to be scammed. Especially when she is having her friends leave good reviews to make it seem like the people complaining are dishonest. I pray God touches the heart of this business owner to refund those she has hurt in business. I truly believed in her as a business owner.

This lady is a scam artist! I have filed complaints with the BBB as well as the Labor board.. she talks fast and is a liar. That woman empowerment act is just what it is an ACT! I worked for this lady during one summer and she completely played with me as the money she claimed she was going to pay me. If you can, please find someone else she is NOT trustworthy and not to be trusted around ANY legal documents or funds that she needs to pay out! Everybody is NOT lying on this woman, a horrible lying scammer!
