It took a couple of weeks to select the carpet color and there was no rush or pressure. We had 2 visits to our home, once to measure and then the install. Both appointments they arrived on time. The installers are as an experienced crew as you will find. Install went smoothly and the carpet looks great. We are looking forward to our next project.

The installation team was equally efficient, finishing it entire second floor (including 4 rooms, 7 closets, a hallway, and stairs) in one day. Planning and preparation was the key! Tom & Ginger ClaridgeHi All, I was ready to remodel my Living Room & new carpet was in the budget…L & M was not the closest shop to me, yet I am very glad I visited the Mechanicsville location…My Sales Associate Sarah is just Top Notch!..I went over my project in general & she allowed me to browse & study different styles with no pressure whatsoever, her delightful & professional demeanor was truly a pleasure to interact with…On my return visit I had materials picked out & detailed specific plans crafted for the purchase, as I was a professional carpet & vinyl installer years ago…Me still got my game!…The shop delivered my goods exactly as described & over the next two months I very carefully hand cut all areas, as Wife did not want tack strip nailed down nor moulding removed, no pressure mind you, quite the challenge it was, yet Sarah came through with assurance of the quality, durability & workability that was absolutely necessary in loose lay of all areas…I will state clearly that I am most pleased beyond measure of this carefully planned & choreographed purchase & install…Let my photos speak for themselves!..The premium pad was better than I had anticipated, along with Shaw carpet, feels so comfy on bare feet!…Materials seamed up invisibly. In closing I will return to L & M when ready for my Master Bedroom carpet, only need to bring in plans & payment…Sarah with L & M will handle all the rest absolutely & I highly recommend her expertise to any prospective client in need of their stellar assortment of flooring.
