Three of us had a lovely evening at The George on Saturday evening; we all enjoyed every mouthful of our delicious main courses… Dover sole, venison and a burger… and their fine - but reasonably priced - wines. The team were charming and the ambience - wonderfully warm, friendly and relaxed. Everyone was delightfully dog friendly too… always a good sign. An excellent pub and restaurant!

Absolutely lovely meal, service was fabulous, they saved a carpark space at the front as I told them my mum used a wheelchair. Came out the restaurant to let us know where to park. We were welcomed in to the lovely pub by the open kitchen. The food was delicious. Service was great, staff were lovely. We'll definitely go back

This is by far the best roast I’ve had for sometime. Beautiful juicy meat, crispy roasties, all the veg you could ever want and lush cauliflower and cheese. Portions are massive and all our plates were licked clean. Thank you The George for an amazing Sunday roast!

The George has been on our list for a while as we were regulars at Hausbar in Bristol. We finally visited for a birthday lunch and it was an all round excellent experience.. The service was absolutely spot-on, the food delicious, and the prices very fair.
