Customer experiences
We had the absolute pleasure of playing at the Gingerman Social Eatery this past Saturday after another band had to cancel, and we can’t say enough good things about the experience. A huge thank-you to John and Don for being so welcoming, professional, and supportive. Stepping in last-minute can be stressful, but they made everything smooth and easy, and truly made us feel appreciated. The servers were incredible—friendly, attentive, and on top of everything all night. You can really feel the teamwork and positive energy in the room. The food was top notch. Chefs kiss Great vibe, great people, and a fantastic place for live music. We’re grateful for the opportunity and would happily play here again anytime. Highly recommend! — Slowburn
We visited The Gingerman Social Eatery for my wife’s birthday with the kids, as we always pass by and finally decided to give it a try. First, it’s worth noting that the atmosphere is more of a sports bar with live music, which makes it less family-friendly. There’s no dedicated kids’ menu, so we ordered sliders for the kids, but the portions were so small that I ended up sharing my own meal with my son. On the positive side, the food itself was good, but the service was just average, nothing particularly standout. Overall, it’s probably a better spot for adults looking for a casual night out, rather than a family-friendly dining option
Foods whatever a little burnt around the edges for the nachos and wings average. Beer was cold and service top notch. If they somehow upped the food quality and added something not so generic, to the menu, I’m sure people would come for just the live music and service.
Stopped by to try this place and honestly, it didn’t hit the mark. The burger ($26) was small and dry, had barely any tzatziki, and lacked flavour. A good portion of pickled onions could’ve made a big difference. Fries were on the burnt side and hard to enjoy, and the salad was just there. The menu mostly offers burgers and handhelds—nothing really unique or exciting. They’ve got a nice space, so it feels like they could do a lot better with some updates to the menu. For now, it feels overpriced for what you get. Not in a rush to come back.
The Gingerman Social Eatery is a gastropub.
