Apart from the appeal of the resident pussycats (which is a valid reason in itself to visit anyway), this is a fantastic pub with a great selection of quality beers and ciders and they are very fairly priced. This is a very friendly pub with enthusiastic and friendly staff and an atmosphere that you can't buy. My girlfriend and I visited on a Tuesday and there was a pub quiz taking place. We were invited to take part. Thoroughly enjoyed the quiz and all the fun that went with it. Lovely pub with lovely cats and even friendlier staff. Will 100% be making a return visit and will recommend to everyone đź‘Ť

I think if there was an award for the greatest choice of beer in the smallest space in the city, this place would win it. And the award for the highest density of cats, obviously.
Theodore Elton (Teddy)Cat Overload. Sat in for about 2 hours during the early opening hours. It was quiet. Many of the cats were sleeping in cardboard boxes minding their own business. For all the cat lovers, do make the trip.
Katherine EarleMade a detour to visit and so glad we did! Yes, there are cats lounging on the bar in little boxes, totally ignoring all attempts to get their attention! It's a small place, grungy, take it or leave it cool. Music was very good, staff friendly, cider was very very nice. I just wish I lived closer so could visit more often.
