Took my littlest (5yr old) to get her hair cut. Super happy with how it turned out. But it was the stylist, Autumn Mosher, that made the experience great for us. She made sure I was pleased with how it was going throughout the entire cut. She also engaged in kid friendly small talk with my daughter and ensured she felt comfortable throughout the process as well. Autumn is definitely good with kiddos and I would absolutely recommend seeing her! She was super friendly and so sweet to my girl. Will definitely be returning to her for more cuts in the future for both of my girls and myself!
I had a disappointing experience at the Head Shoppe today. My usual ( I say this tongue in cheek as I have had 3 different stylists just this year alone here) stylist decided she would put me with another stylist today and didn’t even bother to tell me. A hair stylist is VERY important to most women and we don’t take being moved around lightly. The stylist I was sent to did not know me or how I wanted my hair. She was told to just take a little off my hair! She did an ok job considering but when I got home I was not pleased as one side of my hair was sticking out and I saw that she had not cut the top part of my hair at all. Her brush was too large for short hair and I couldn’t wait to get out of there. I have been going to the Head Shoppe for many years but see a big decline in the service. New staff are coming and going all the time. I am seriously thinking of finding a new shop to go to. Very disappointing.
Ava has cut my hair twice, but I knew the first time, that I was sure I wanted to have her do my hair. She remembered everything,, she just started cutting and I just let her go. She is young. adorable, but so an old soul. I smiled the whole time I was there, and I will be there again and again. Thank-you for the pleasant appointment, but I really wanted Ava too know how much her time was appreciated. Karen McKinnon
