Lovely pub with great character and a friendly atmosphere. Charlie made us feel very welcome and looked after us. The rooms were clean, the beds were comfy and the shower was powerful. The breakfast was delicious and well presented 😋 I would recommend anyone passing through to stay here and take a visit to the bar 🍻 Thank-you Charlie, we wish you all the best in the future. We recently stopped here for a Sunday lunch. Food was lovely, reasonable price and tasty. Staff friendly and attentive. We sat inside but there is a outdoor area too. Very dog friendly, they bought over a dog bowl and a few treats for our pooch and of course she enjoyed some scritches too. We'd return if we were in the area again.
Didn’t have the food or tried the rooms but put as 5 stars as not to affect the rating. Nice little pub with a lovely outside are that catches the sunshine. Great service and friendly patrons.
