The Home Doctor

Had a door put in for our new patio area outside and wanted french doors with a doggie door. Super friendly, awesome initial meeting with Andy Brown. He gave us the best price that was available. He set up an initial measuring and that happened at the time he said. Followed up with the schedule of the door install which also happened exactly at the time and date he said (about 4 weeks after). Work was done quick and with no issues. VERY happy with our door and will definitely use The Home Doctor again. Prices are less expensive than your other big companies like Andersen windows or Long Fence. You cant go wrong here! Before and after pics added.

I wasn't going to write a review because I didn't have anything nice to say and I was a little embarrased that I even hired them; however, I just found damage caused to my outdoor furnature so I'm going to let it rip 😡. First, this company uses high-pressure sales tactics. They give you a today price, 30-day price, and a 12-month price. Needless to say, the today price is SIGNIFICANTLY lower so that if you are attempting to get additional estimates, you would stand to lose thousands of dollars if other companies come in higher and you later decide to go with The Home Doctor. Also, even the today price seemed inflated. I decided to go with them for my gutter replacement, but upon reflection was pretty annoyed about the pressure. When the workmen showed up, they were wearing Power Home Remodeling shirts, and I could see the truck they showed up in also had a Power Home Remodeling logo that they'd tried to cover up with paper. Really?? I was under the impression that The Home Doctor did all their own work!? Had I known they were going to outsource the job I would NOT have gone with them. I already have a relationship with Power Home Remodeling!! The day the gutters were replaced, they seemed satisfactory , but I didn't perform an inspection of my yard. I didn't think I needed to. It is now spring and I went into my back yard to do some cleanup and found that they dropped something heavy on my table, denting it!!!!!! I can't fix that!!! I also found several aluminum nails just lying around on my patio where they could end up in someone's foot! Lastly, when I signed the agreement I gave them my credit card to pay the deposit. The salesman (Mike I think) said I could pay the balance by check once the work was complete to avoid the 3% surcharge for credit card payments. When the work was complete, there was no one to collect the check. A few days later I received a voicemail letting me know I could mail a check or pay by card, so I set up the payment to mail from my bank. The very next day, I found the balance had been charged to my credit card without my authorization. Luckily the salesman helped me get it resolved pretty quickly. Advice to myself for the future: Have a thorough look at google reviews before signing an aggreement (not just the star rating) and DO NOT work with any company that uses these sales tactics.

The HomeDoctor team from initial consultation, installation and follow-up did a great job throughout. Thank you Federson, installation crew and HomeDoctor for a great experience!! Will highly recommend your team and company to anyone considering redoing their windows. We replaced 35 windows!!
