Bonez Barber Shop has always been top tier. Ramone has been cutting me and my sons’ hair for a few years, and the quality is always on point. Clean cuts, great attention to detail, and you can tell he really takes pride in his work. I never have to worry when my kids are in his chair. Seeing Ramone open Bonez Barber Academy makes total sense. He’s not just a great barber, he’s someone who cares about doing things the right way and passing that knowledge on to others. If the students learn half of what he brings to the shop, they’ll be set up for success. Big congrats to Ramone Pierce on building something special for the community. Highly recommend Bonez Barber Shop and excited to see what comes out of the academy.
I asked very clearly for a low fade with weight on the sides and just a little off the top. Instead, the barber gave me a buzz cut. No discussion, no confirmation, just straight up ignored what I asked for. I drove 20 minutes to get here and this is easily the worst haircut I’ve ever had. If you’re not going to listen to your customers or understand basic haircut requests, don’t waste their time. Extremely disappointed.
I'm going to start this by saying that I don't know if that barber had a bad day or I must have done something wrong to him but this was the worse haircut I've ever gotten and I actually had to pay for it. He started by smashing his hair clipper against my ears until they both had cuts on them when I arrived home and checked them out. He gave me a fade that did not mirror the other side at all, one was a straight from front to back and one was round, I had semi long hair and asked for a mullet. He seemed to be in a hurry because when I asked of he could trim the front and back top part he just ran his scissors a few times and messing it up even more. I would rather pay a random person off the street 20 bucks next time to cut my hair and expect nothing great than go to a 40 dollar "professional barber" and have to fix it on my own at home.
