Customer experiences
The location is perfect and you can walk right across the road to Kitchen Kettle Village. There were nice little touches in the room such as aromatherapy to put in the jetted tub. We stayed in the Summer House suite which I’ve seen mentioned as having dated decor, but it was honest very charming. The whole property was beautiful and the spa experience was great. We didn’t encounter any staff of the Inn in person, but the service on the phone was friendly. The email says self check in but we did not realize we had to go to the door of the main house for check in instructions, so including that in email could be helpful in the future. :) I did not take off stars for this and this many sound picky as people aren’t necessarily come to watch TV, but the TVs are dated and very pixelated/hard to watch and I was hoping to wind down at night with a movie. I do unfortunately have to take stars off for the bed. We were on a post baby getaway trying to get sleep and slept terribly in the bed. It was very firm and uncomfortable, especially on the one side where you could feel the springs. I was expecting a little bit more of a quality breakfast. Overall, I’d say it’s a really nice place!
We had a lovely stay at the Inn and Spa at Intercourse Village. Our suite was beautifully decorated, welcoming and very clean. The grounds are gorgeous and very well maintained. Every breakfast was wonderful with many choices from the buffet table and the menu. The location is fabulous - right in the heart of Amish country. And the staff - just fantastic - pleasant, helpful and efficient! ||What a wonderful stay - highly recommend!
We highly recommend staying here! We stayed in the Summer Cottage and it was absolutely beautiful! Breakfast was delicious. Enjoyed the fresh fruit. Staff was amazing - so nice and helpful. It was the best honeymoon! We will definitely return in the near future to stay again!
What a beautiful and central location for your stay in Lancaster County! This inn, and the specific suite we stayed in has been on must-stay my list for quite some time. I’m so glad we finally got the chance to spend several nights there. Firstly, there is no guessing about your stay in- everything you would need to know comes in an email with links to a “guestbook” where you can find all manner of information about the inn and spa well before your stay. The property is beautiful, well-kept, and so close to everything. Not only is Kitchen Kettle Village right across the road, but everywhere you would want to go in Lancaster County is not far away at all. Our suite was clean, well-stocked, and comfortable- there wasn’t anything we were in need of the entire time we were there and if there was something we needed we could easily find it because of the booklet included at check-in. Breakfast is something you must do when you are staying. The dining room is beautiful and the food was delicious and the side-board of treats and cold breakfast items laid out before your hot breakfast was amazing. Everything from decor to china was wonderful. The property is so pretty and the walkway to the fountain and gazebo was so serene and lovely. This was definitely worth the wait for us and somewhere I will most certainly return some day soon!
