The Inn Hotel, Ascend Hotel Collection

I hate to post negative reviews, but this is one of the worst places I've ever stayed. The room was dirty. There was mold all over the bathroom and the toilet was filthy. The worst part was the shower. Paint was falling off the ceiling. I was literally covered in paint chips. I had to check out and find another place to shower. The most aggravating part is the fact that I went to the front desk and asked to speak to someone about it. I didn't want to make a scene or embarrass the staff. I spoke to the maintenance manager, who was picking paint chips out of my hair while we were talking, and he promised the manager would call me and return my money. No one ever called. I've called 3 times. These are health code violations. I was polite and understanding. I deserve a refund. I most definitely deserved a return call.

The staff was very accommodating and our room was very clean. Only negative thing is that the selection for the Continental Breakfast could have been better. We stayed Thursday, October 9 and checked out Saturday, October 11th.

We noticed liquid on air conditioned unit, footstool was wet ,floor around footstool was wet,nightstand was wet , we thought it was condensation, later we found a bottle behind a pillow on chair. The bottle was a fifth of vodka. So we have to assume that the liquid spilled all over was Vodka. We cleaned the place and did not call the front desk . At 4:30 in the morning I took the Vodka to the front desk I called the manager and said I wanted a refund for the room and was told since I didn’t call the front desk that she would not refund our money. I did tell the front desk at 4:30 a.m we were too tired to mess with complaining after cleaning up after a DRUNK
