I recently visited Joker’s Crown and, unfortunately, I left less impressed than on past visits. On the positive side, my chicken souvlaki was delicious, and the Greek salad was fresh and tasty. However, our appetizer — a spinach dip — was watery and mediocre. Service was another area of concern. Our server struggled to stay focused, and drink refills never happened. A friend’s meal came with mostly “end pieces” of fries. When asked, staff explained all fries are fresh cut and that they “cannot control it,” but they did replace them — unfortunately only after the meal was nearly finished. Another disappointment came at the end of the visit. We weren’t informed in advance about a 2.4% surcharge for using a credit card, which I feel should be disclosed upfront. Also, the preset tip options started at over 20% and went beyond 25%, which I found in poor taste given the overall service experience. I’m not sure what has changed since we last came a few months ago, but the quality of both service and overall experience has noticeably declined. I hope the restaurant addresses these issues, as it used to be a much better place to dine.

Service was great. Food took a bit long to cook, but we enjoyed our beer in the meantime. Prices were affordable and reasonable. T.V's in all of the right spots. My wife got the pesto chicken sandwich and it was deadly. The fries could be better. I got a burger and fries and it was also fantastic. The gravy was great too!

Stopped in for dinner & drinks to catch up with a friend. Only ended up ordering an appetizer & settling bills to find dinner elsewhere. Very unimpressed with the lack of professionalism. Seemed to be more of an inconvenience to the waitress than anything. Food was subpar, & service was awful. Won’t be going back, wouldn’t recommend.

Overall, our experience was average. If you are looking for a local spot to grab food, this is a fine option. Our server was friendly, but non-attentive and continued to show us poor service. The simpler the order the better. I’m sure a beer and a burger is your best bet. The beef French dip sandwich was slightly concerning. 😕We will try a different restaurant next time!
