Asked to write One letter and research one fact - charged $3,000 “researching” - initial consult is $295 - but be careful he also charges a $795 fee for “equipment” and then adds to his bill fees for his employees - even after asked to stop billing. He gives deadlines and then doesn’t meet them. BE CAREFUL…..He charged almost $1,000 After I asked him to stop billing me - and now I must take him to Arbitration.

I had a brief consultation with Jay and was thoroughly impressed with him and his office. From the beginning to the end, he and his staff were very professional. He was clearly a knowledgeable attorney and he came across as being genuinely interested in providing quality advice and pointing me in the right direction. I see why these ratings are so good. My only issue was that at first, it was difficult to get in actual contact with someone from the firm. But that happens with a lot of law firms; especially the good ones. So my advice is to reach out to them early, as it may take some time for you to actually speak to a staff member and get scheduled for a consultation. In my case, after I submitted an initial inquiry on the website, they called me relatively quickly; the next day, I think. But my reception was bad and the call dropped. I called back and could not get through to anyone. Checked my email and saw an email asking me to schedule an appointment with their intake team. I did so, and maybe 2 days later, I was able to speak with an intake rep. So long story long, either pick up when they initially call you or understand that it will take you a few days to actually get someone on the phone to schedule you for a consultation. Plan accordingly (i.e., don’t delay). But like I said, good firms are generally busy, and stuff like that happens with good, busy firms… it’s definitely not just this firm and I’ve had similar issues with others. Anyway, if you’re in need, I would definitely recommend calling Jay for a consultation. Overall, I was thoroughly impressed.
