I love this store! It is extremely well organized. The staff is incredibly helpful and kind. The walls are lined with the gorgeous sketches and illustrations of the patrons of Blick's. They carry certain supplies I seldom find at even other specialty art stores. I definitely recommend any artist, student or professional, buy their supplies from this store. I will certainly be coming back to purchase more supplies for my professional needs!

Maximum art material options in a small-ish space. I liked the range of available price points in each category of supplies, including their budget friendly house Blick brand. The staff are helpful and pleasant without being overbearing. I was able to get everything on my list, including basics like glue sticks, scissors, and pallet knives; along with more unique items like stencil blanks and foam dimension tape. I, of course, bought some items not on my list, including archival ink pad refills, metallic dimension paint, and some cute stickers. Finally, the question all you junk journalers want answered: yes, you get a paper receipt :)

I'm always rooting for a brick-and-mortar art store, but FYI this location is geared nearly entirely toward painting. Excellent selection of just about everything you need if you're a painter. Sadly, the ceramics/glaze section was abysmal compared to the other Blick locations in the city and what's available on their website.
