Yasser FahmyI initially joined The One Gym in Muscat and was thoroughly impressed. For the first few months, the gym was an amazing place to train, with top-notch facilities, friendly staff, and a welcoming atmosphere. However, my experience has changed significantly over the past few months, particularly after Gold's Gym closed down, leading to a surge in active users at The One Gym. The gym is now overcrowded, making it difficult to find available equipment during peak hours. Hygiene standards have also dropped noticeably; the gym needs more cleaners to maintain the same cleanliness level as before. Most concerning, I’ve encountered cockroaches on three separate occasions, including today. Despite raising complaints, these issues have not been adequately addressed. I’m disappointed because The One Gym had set such a high standard initially. Unfortunately, until these problems are resolved, I can no longer recommend it as I once did. My subscription runs until July 2025, but I am reconsidering whether to continue training here. I’ve reduced my rating and hope they take these issues seriously soon.
