Jo FriendFabulous food, reasonably priced and lovely staff. My friend and I had quiche for lunch - it wasn't just nice, it was perfect. Gorgeous crispy salad, homemade coleslaw and a generous slice of delicious homemade quiche made with the best pastry I've ever had in a high street cafe. For me, simple food created with care is as good as dining in more upmarket restaurants - but without the negative impact on my bank balance! Thank you - we'll be back :)
Sam WebberThis was our first time in this lovely cafe and not our last. Had a very tasty Omlette wifh a lovely dressed fresh salad and homemade coleslaw. It was perfect. My husband had lamb soup/stew which was very tasty followed by the lovely apple cake. I also bought a homemade sausage roll which again was very tasty and lovely pastry. Lovely atmosphere and very friendly staff and highly recommend it.

My friend has an intolerance to dairy & they went out of their way to buy her some oat milk for her coffee and to ensure that the ingredients used for her lunch were suitable for her diet. S J C - BettsWe thought we'd try a full and veggie breakfast, as we didn't have at home. Husband has diabetes check up. Breakfasts was lovely, but for the veggie, there wasn't even a veggie sausage on the menu? I've had veggie breakfasts before, in other cafés, which includes veggie sausage. We do try and support the cafe, but have to say, although it's nice but not really hot when it came out, I didn't think it was worth the value, both full and veggie, was £11.81p each 🤔! Very disappointing in the breakfasts, but otherwise when we come in for lunch, that's ok. Can I just say, please can you add veggie sausages for the veggie option, without paying extra?
