This store rarely properly updates their inventory for online purchases. It will say « available in store » but when you purchase it, they update you by saying that they don’t have it in stock finally. It has happened numerous times so just save your time and go to another location.

The place has misleading prices. They have one price on the display, and then they surprise you with a new, much higher price when you are ready to pay. Avoid this place. They also refuse to sell it at an advatised price, which is illegal in Quebec.

My poor 11-year-old son had the most disturbing and upsetting experience in the Les Promenades Gatineau Pandora store. He purchased a charm of a heart and arrow and was told that if he changed his mind it could be returned. Once he came out of the store he asked me if a heart and arrow meant "love for a mom or romantic love" so I explained that it's usually a sign of romantic affection. His reaction was "I have to go back in and change something". He then returned a minute later crying because they said it could not be returned because it was final sale. He was not told this nor was it noted on the receipt that he couldn't return it. I escorted him back to the store and calmly asked to have it returned however, they refused. After calmly standing my ground for almost an hour the staff began to get quite rude, even to the point of a sales lady cursing right in front of him and other customers. The store manager then came into the store, refused to offer the refund and then her boyfriend came into the store and started telling us to leave and then started swearing at my 15-year-old daughter saying that I was being a B#@*#. At this point, we were all so distraught and intimidated that I ended up calling mall security, had to fill out a report and they felt so bad that they offered us an escort to our car. The sad part is that this experience ruined his yearly tradition of buying me a charm and of course, he ended up not being able to get his hard-earned money back, which breaks my heart!! I submitted a detailed complaint to head office, and was told all they could do but offered a 25% coupon off any online purchase... which is no help two days before Christmas. It's really too bad that this whole situation even had to happen and that nobody seems to want to do anything about it :(

I went to Gatineau to visit my cousin and wanted to get her a gift. I called at least 5 times to check if they had a specific charm. Out of 5 times, two times they actually picked up the phone and hung up on me. I'll take my business elsewhere because they clearly don't care about their customers.
