Friends and I bought tickets to the Après-Ski event organized with Canadian Party Life on January 30th. Tickets on the app said that doors open at 8pm, with the instagram for The Social encouraged everyone to come early. My friends and I got there around 8:20, hoping to be able to sit down and get some drinks. Instead, we waited in line outside in -20 degree weather since they weren’t let anyone in. We learnt at around 8:50, while waiting in line that they weren’t letting anyone in until 9pm, since they had booked a children’s event and couldn’t let anyone in until they left. Was a frustrating, uncomfortable and painful experience. If I hadn’t had to prepay for the tickets, I would left at 8:30. Was an insanely frustrating moment and clearly shows how disorganized this establishment is. Why say doors open at 8 pm and for everyone to come early if you were just going to make everyone wait outside and freeze. No regard for the health and safety of your patrons. Only positive of this night was the bartender that was able to get me some warm water to help me warm up.

Small Waves

Amazing bartenders, I have yet to be dissapointed. Even when their busy they are patient with you. Atmosphere is great, welcoming and the patio is awesome to cool down when you need a dance break. DJs never miss, the music is always great, and anytime there is an event its clear why its sold out. Bouncers are friendly and hostess are great, all around great training for the staff. Definitely suggest going when its a themed night!

having a 1/2 hour to kill, we decided to stop in for quick drinks before attending a concert across the road. The place was pretty much empty, but it still took forever to get our drinks & as out=r friend said, it was probably the worst Caesar he had ever had. Possibly a great hang out for the college crowd, but not for 4 thirsty baby boomers apparently - SPA007

Fun night out, on the couple occasions we have ordered food it was cold and flavourless. Bartenders are not very attentive and security staff needs a serious ego check. too bad everyone likes going there because I've had nothing but bad experiences
