Where do I begin? Candice and her team exemplifies excellence. My wedding day would not be what it was without her. She is the epitome of grace and patience. She helped me throughout the wedding process, making sure I was on time with task, while checking in with my mental health. My sour stress ridden face during our meetings did not phase her once lol She was very understanding of the stress I had. She kept me on top of things and stepped in where others did not. To me, Candice went above and beyond to make my wedding day special. She also coordinated the day and let’s just say her presence was necessary and welcomed. She helped behind the scenes and kept a level of professionalism I will always remember and commend. She is great at what she does and her assistant was also wonderful with checking in and helping out the day of the wedding. The power duo stopped at nothing to make my wedding spectacular. I reminded Candice that without her, the day would not be what it turned out to be. Candice is a mastermind, innovative, and an expert in her craft. I cannot say how much I recommend her expertise. If you want to make your day or the process of wedding planning flawless and less stressful, count on Candice for guidance and to get the job done. So I thank her once again for the role she played on my special day and wish her nothing but the best while she makes other weddings as amazing as mine!

It was really important to me and my now husband to highlight black-owned businesses throughout our wedding. I was so excited when I came across Candice and The Styled Stem on Instagram. From the first meeting, we bonded over being "planners", and I knew she was about her business! I felt she would provide us with the exact organizational needs we were seeking for the day of our wedding and lessen the inherent stress of everything. Her organizational skills were apparent in the way she developed our schedule and maintained contact with all our vendors leading up to the big day. She was very detail-oriented and not afraid to ask questions and advocate on our behalf, and I really appreciated that as a Type-A bride (lol). I also appreciated her readiness and level of care to answer my one-off questions with her wealth of industry knowledge and suggestions. Though we had a few hiccups day of with our venue, Candice and her team handled it well, and took all our feedback in stride. I would absolutely recommend the Styled Stem for your day of coordination needs, and based on what I've seen of full-scale events that Candice and team have executed, I would for sure recommend her brand Decourtcey Events for full planning services!

Candice and her team are the best. As a bride who was worried at every step and has a hard time letting things go, Candice was there with reassurance, tips, advice, recommendations and a plan of action right away at every step. She made the lead up and day of seamless and was so kind, personable and the exact person you want with you throughout the day.
