Such a hidden gem, after a long day at the beach this was such a blessing to stop at. We decided to try it out on a whim and we were not disappointed. Goat curry was flavourful, rice and peas were delicious, the highlight was the pepper shrimp- massive shrimp and full of sauce. Chefs special was chow mein with shrimp and your choice of meat. Overall for the price and the amount of food you get it’s such a bang for your buck you leave feeling well feed and happy. Kis was a joy to talk to you can tell her loves what she does. Everyone should try this spot out, they deserve all the recognition and 5 stars!!

We found this little restaurant on Google map and saw that it has very good reviews, so we decided to drive all the way over from Selkirk and it was totally worth it. The food was 100% authentic Jamaican. We ordered 1 Throw down special rice with shrimp and chicken, 1 Throw down special chow mein noodle with fried chicken. The food came out so fresh and hot and they all were sooo delicious!. We highly recommend this restaurant and will definitely come back!

Impromptu poor planning on our part. We ambushed the chef here with a party of 8 soon after opening with little heads up (they make everything fresh to order). Requesting oxtail (a dish that cannot be rushed) as well as other items. We were warned about a long wait-we understood and didn't mind. The patience payed off. Absolutely the best oxtail I've had to this day. The lady didn't really want to serve us the oxtail right away, it wasn't tender enough yet to her liking (a sign of pride for their food). We ate the fried chicken and coleslaw first and it did not disappoint at all! It's been months and I'm writing this review at 3am. This place haunts me in the best ways. I've got no business being this far from Toronto but would go again. 10/10. Oh and the price point was so good too, we were shocked. Super tasty food at a reasonable price in this day and age.

BEST restaurant food we have maybe ever had in this province! The service was great placing our order at the window and waiting for our takeout. Prices were great as the portions were HUGE and everything was fresh and delicious 🙌 Highly recommend the fried shrimp - it had to have over 20 pieces and even after a 25 minute drive they were crispy and warm. The curried goat was the best we've ever found and the oxtail was tender with perfect spice - also the best we've had! The rice and peas are addictive in the best way. The wings were very large and the breading was crispy. The Throw Down Sauce is a must try!!
