Ian BradburyLovely small cafe for drinks and bites. Didn’t eat (see menu/prices) there but coffee was nice. Ask for it extra hot ! Geared up to use card for payments ….they don’t seem to carry mush change for cash. Clean surroundings, friendly staff.
Lucy SimpsonGreat vegan options for lunch and cake. They have separate vegetarian and vegan menu which is really useful. They told us when we got there it will be a 50 minute wait for food. We didn’t mind this and just had cake first! They then offered us another drink on the house due to the wait - they didn’t need to do this as they warned us first anyway! The staff seemed busy but the atmosphere of the place felt calm. Really great service by all and the food was well worth the wait. The vegan lemon and blueberry cake was beautiful! The jasmine tea was fresh tea leaf which was lovely. The vegan hotdog was yummy! My friend really enjoyed her meat burger too. Very reasonable prices. Will definitely come again when in the area.
DatxmanThis is a lovely dog friendly cafe that offers great food and a good vegan menu. Downsides are that the choice on the menu is limited and it was quite cramped for four people and two dogs. Plus points. The burger that we had was great, tasted lovely and well presented. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The food was not over priced
Xander MylesPleasant lunch tainted by rude, male staff member - we thought we were really spoiled to have such a wide selection of Vegan options, the girl who served our food was lovely, the attitude of the male really was cringeworthy. I'd like to think we're all allowed a bad day, but going by the other reviews it seems it's a permanent feature. We watched him give others the same treatment where we sat. Not really acceptable to subject paying customers to such attitude, we should have probably just walked out and cancelled our order. There was an issue with how long it took to get drinks, masochistically we ordered a 2nd round of hot(ish) drinks (because they weren't that warm the first time), we again got an "is that all?!" from the ray of sunshine behind the counter who then turned his back to us. Food was OK, tasty enough hard to criticise without the review feeling vindictive to the grumpy guy, the sides (coleslaw, sliced potatoes) didn't really add anything or have much flavour, but the mains were nice enough. Summary: Coffee - Warm, Food - Nice, Service Girl - Great/Guy-Awful, Cafe-Nicely located.
