Customer experiences
Our small business had high hopes when we engaged with this firm, given their numerous community awards. Unfortunately, our experience fell significantly short of expectations. Over the course of a year, we encountered: - Consistent communication delays requiring us to be the ones to follow up - Numerous errors in important legal documents - Incorrect filings with state agencies - Limited accountability when issues were raised When we requested support to address these concerns, we were disappointed to be met with fee schedules rather than customer service. Eventually Lindy did step in to help us close the project, but we're now seeking additional counsel to verify everything was done correctly. While the team members seem knowledgeable, the lack of attention to detail and project management made working together unnecessarily stressful for our already tapped team. For businesses that need reliable, proactive legal support, I would recommend exploring other options.
Nicole at Rational Unicorn helped me seamlessly get my trademark for my business. She dealt with everything I didnt want too, worth every penny, communication was great and no hidden fees, everything was super clear. Definitely will work with them again!
This was my first time searching for legal services in Oregon and was severely disappointed. I could expect to have this kind of experience at a call center, but have never experienced such an awful phone operator for a local business, yet alone a law firm. There was a simple misunderstanding with my consultation appointment time due to Daylight savings changing between the time I made my appointment and the actual day of the appointment. I sat on my call for 15 minutes with no one arriving to the meeting so I called to check in. Right away the person answering was not friendly, answering exasperated. I explained what was happening but was cut off and told I had missed my appointment at 2:30 as I was staring at my invite showing the Google meeting reading 3:30. I was severely confused, as I remember scheduling for this time specifically and had it listed as this in my calendar both of my phone AND on Google. I offered to forward my email to show them and it was at this moment I realized my Google calendar was still in MST. Instead of offering any kind of understanding or solutions I was told repeatedly how I was wrong and was bluntly shut down and interrupted multiple times before breaking down in tears. I’m from AZ, this is only my second year getting used to daylight savings. I contacted this firm after being wrongfully terminated and had been looking forward to this meeting for weeks. I’m the head of my household facing crisis after losing my job, and am in even worse spirits after being abused by my employers for months before that. I already felt awful that I had to reschedule my original consultation appointment due to a plumbing emergency. I completely understand having to adhere to tight schedules for institutions such as law firms, but the way this person handled our phone call was incredibly rude. I have worked on phones for a living and couldn’t imagine treating a prospective client in dire need of help so unprofessionally. At the very least, if you update a person’s appointment time you should probably send some context and a message as to WHY it was moved instead of having two confusing times conflicting your client with no context. I’m hurt and let down walking away from this experience.
I hired them to help me with some bespoke legal forms for a small business support services company I am starting. They were awesome to work with! Clear and timely communication throughout the process and the finished product is exactly what I was hoping for! Highly recommend for the quality of service and their approachability.
