For over 25 years, I dreamed of building the third house on property my grandfather purchased about 100 years ago. In 2023, it was time. Thornhill Construction was on my (very) short list of builders. I had been seeing the houses they built on the Mississippi coast since 2005. I could tell that they were a reputable and high-quality builder. I had a small window of opportunity, so Jason’s promise to break ground in 90 days was exactly what I needed. Jason found us an architect/engineer and proposed a house plan. We made a few design modifications and signed a contract. After obtaining a required variance (with the help of Jason’s team) and taking care of some tree removal, we were ready to go on 09/12/2023. Just 14 days later on 09/26/2023, the foundation materials were on site and work began. Throughout the construction, Jason’s staff worked closely with us to keep things on track. They helped us with selections, explained our options, and gave us great design advice. When various infrastructure issues came up, Jason’s staff worked with us and around problems as needed. The punch list was handled in days. The whole experience was excellent from beginning to end. We got our house built on schedule and within budget. We are very impressed with the final result and the overall quality of the finish. All our friends and family are equally impressed. Thank you, Jason! We are so impressed with the dedication Thornhill put into the job of creating a warm, peaceful home for not only my family but also the family of my husband’s sister. We have known that we wanted to have a weekend home in Bay St. Louis for years. Growing up visiting the area, we were positive that we would one day create our own home for our families to share for years to come. Thornhill has made that dream come true, and we are so thankful. Building a home comes with its challenges, but Thornhill made it an easy process. Because the area is popular, there is a lot of construction going on. It’s important to stay patient. Our house came out beautifully! We have 2 masters, 2 guest rooms with Queen-sized beds, and a bunk room. The house stands on concrete pilings that are very sturdy. The craftsmanship and construction are top tier quality. We would recommend Thornhill to anyone looking to build their dream home in BSL!

Jason and his team recently built a beach house for us in Pass Christian. It was a great experience from start to finish. We purchased a lot and then contacted a handful of contractors for consultations. Jason's team stood out in the crowd. Thornhill helped us find an architect/engineer and Jason's subcontractors were used to complete construction. From the framing through install of finishes, we enjoyed the process.
