I found Cristina Perera through the Thriveworks website. I was so happy to make this connection. Cristina is so warm and supportive. I instantly felt comfortable talking with her. She is very professional and helped me with my problem in just a few sessions. I highly recommend Christina as a wonderful therapist who is so easy to talk to. I’m so glad I found her through this website.

I originally posted a really kind review for this place but I’m coming back to edit it. The doctors and providers are 5 stars, the billing practices of Thriveworks is 0 stars. I am a biller and coder for behavioral health so I know first hand that their billing practices are sketchy. I would avoid this place at all costs. I LOVED thriveworks when I first started going here, so much so that I recommended 3 different people who also went here. And then the bills started coming. I received bills for 2/3 months of claims all at once. I started by paying $200, the very next day they charged my card on file $551 without my knowledge and without notifying me this would be happening. I called and spoke with someone for THREE hours to try to get this resolved since I had just made a $200 payment and their final resolution was refunding a small percentage of the $550 and setting me up on a “payment plan” for the rest. After all this happened, I removed my debit card from their system (therefore revoking consent for them to charge it) and they still attempted to charge my card HUNDREDS of dollars without my knowledge or consent. It got to the point where I had to order a new debit card because even though I removed my card from their system, they would not stop trying to take my money. And it’s not like they were trying to charge me the agreed upon $103.47, they were still trying to charge me hundreds of dollars! Then I receive an email stating I have a balance due and I’m not eligible for a payment plan because I breached the last one. YOU people breached the last one by trying to charge me for amounts you had no consent to charge AND try to charge a card that I revoked consent but you still kept it in your system. If you made it this far and this still isn’t enough to steer you away, several of the people that I have referred here have reviewed their billed charges with me (again, biller and coder) and thriveworks tacks on “add on codes” to almost every claim. If you see your psychiatrist, even if it’s nothing to do with therapy, they’re gonna charge you a therapy add on code. If you have monthly appointments with a psychiatrist for a medication check, even if it’s the EXACT same length as last months and everything is exactly the same, you might get charged $100 more than last month. They bill based on whatever they feel like that day. When my friends first started questioning why their bills are so high for such a short visit and they sent me the details I immediately knew this place is a dumpster fire. Not only are their billing practices immoral but they’re also illegal… it’s ILLEGAL to charge a card that’s been removed from your system. That would make the transaction UNAUTHORIZED! Yall can go right ahead and send me to collections because you will never see a penny of my money. I feel bad for the providers who work here because they get lumped in with such a greedy, disgusting organization.
