Mema is great with children, gets to their level by listening. She has been so supportive to my son in navigating his identity as a minority, as they talk openly about anything. As a parent I have appreciated her thoughtfulness and support in helping me advocate and lean into difficult conversations with school personnel. She has exposed me a whole new level of thinking as I parent. I am more empowered/ equipped to raise a young kind, loving, authentic boy. She is part of our village and we appreciate the tools she utilizes.
