I'm honestly not to sure about this place. I feel like they are a big corporation just out for $$$. It is a 1-800 #, always a different person & they are not too knowledgeable it seams as if they all have a script they read & are not proficiently trained! Also I can understand a regular $50 no show/cancellation however theirs is $135!! Also you have to cancel 48 hours prior! After calling my Insurance I found out their rates they are charging our insurance to see a therapist is $300/appointment!! The therapist we see is just making me feel worse about myself not better, and I've gotten therapy for several years, (my thrtapist retired) I feel obligated to stay for the sake of My family & until I can find us a better fit that accepts our insurance.

I made an inquiry for a therapist and received the most disgusting sales pitch of my life. First of all, I mentioned that I was concerned about the price and the representative was extremely dismissive and just said my insurance would cover it- which is not true. Additionally, he asked if I wanted in-person or virtual, so I can “kick back with a glass of wine in the comfort of my own home.” WHAT THE HELL? I couldn’t get off the phone and he acted like he was about to lose a sale. I’m reaching out for therapy and you are treating this like a sales pitch and encourage alcohol use? Thriveworks is a big red flag 🚩

hello. i had cynthia. she was tremendously unhelpful. she doesn’t mediate, she’s condescending, often chuckling or smirking when you’re sharing and often invalidates you constantly and your memory and your diagnosis. honestly our session was so damaging bc of statements she would make. honestly felt like i was fighting to be believed, reminding me of my experience with police. she’s an amateur at best and understands nothing of the human condition nor her practice. this was my experience. she came off very emotionally uninvolved and out of touch thinking she knows best when she doesn’t. so confident in completely wrong answers. happy to say my high school counselor was more professional than her :) oh and let’s not forget the 48 hr cancellation policy for a therapist as good as a manager at a fast food restaurant.

Dana Warren has been a great therapist! She listens to understand your personal goals. She never makes you feel uncomfortable while speaking honestly about anything. She is incredibly patient and provides easy small steps to work on to achieve your goals without feeling overwhelmed on your journey to peace! Thank you for being a light in this world, Dana!
