Best Sunday roast we have had out in a very long time. All the staff were very attentive and knowledgeable. The Roast Beef Shortrib was melt in the mouth and the Desserts did not disappoint either. Will definitely be back

Food 8/10 and service 4/10. Shame really, as this pub is lovely and there are a lot of staff there that go out of their way to make your day, by being extremely polite and welcoming. It was the younger staff on this occasion that let the team down. There was a very long wait for everything and I do not feel they deserved the service charge added to the bill. I would definitely try to return again to give them a 2nd chance.

One of the best Sunday roasts I’ve ever had! We visited The Tichborne Arms for a birthday meal, and it honestly couldn’t have been better. The Sunday roast was exceptional — perfectly cooked meat, generous portions, crispy roast potatoes, and rich, flavourful gravy. Every plate at the table looked amazing, and everything tasted even better. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the staff made the whole experience feel special. They were friendly, attentive, and even added a lovely touch for the birthday celebration. If you’re looking for a proper Sunday roast or a great place to celebrate, I can’t recommend The Tichborne Arms enough. Absolutely outstanding!

Love the Tichborne Arms. Such a warm welcoming atmosphere, great selection of beers including good options from local breweries. The food we’ve had has always been consistently excellent, and we’ve eaten here several times sampling everything from the burrata to wood fired pizzas on a Saturday afternoon. The Tichborne is everything great about a local pub. Cozy and bright at Christmas, and with beautiful outdoor gardens in the summer, with views of local cows and a game of boules thrown in for good measure. Spot on.
