I was recommended by a friend to have breakfast her, and I truly must thank here. Owned by a beautiful young woman, this bistro has a lovely atmosphere inside and out. We dined on their lovely patio. Their breakfast sandwich on sourdough is scrumptious and, although I am always trepidatious to try seafood chowder as they all just taste like flour to me (my Mother makes the best chowder in Canada I’d wager), the menu piqued my interest, and it did not disappoint. I even bought a few lovely books and a danish for the road. Thank you Tifes and Tales for a lovely experience!

The atmosphere is warm and inviting, with the added charm of being able to browse books. The food was delicious—my eggs were cooked perfectly over easy, and the toast was spot-on. The bacon was a little more done than I usually prefer, but still tasty and crispy. Home fries were amazing. Overall, the meal was satisfying and well-prepared.

Came here for breakfast on a Saturday and it was busy! Not really worth the 45 minute wait. At least the coffee kept getting refilled in the meantime, but the food was just average. My breakfast sandwich was dry yet greasy. It needed tomato, avocado or a sauce. Breakfast plate could’ve used some fruit on the side. Atmosphere is really charming and better suited for a coffee and read a book type of visit.

Visited on the last day of the season. Great place if you have plenty of time at your disposal. The food was fresh and tasty. Cute waiting area. We spent about $50 for a breakfast sandwich, pancakes, and a coffee — a bit pricey for what it was but the addition of bookstore makes up for it.
