One of the best and biggest Engineering colleges in Ernakulam district. Different engineering divisions and Master degree courses are available for students. Near to Mulamthuruthi junction. It is situated in a calm and beautiful green environment. Qualified teachers and good placement services are the highlights. A nicely furnished language is for the visitors.

SF Engineer

I am a student (2021 batch) of the Safety & Fire Engineering Department at Toc H Institute of Science & Technology (TIST), and I would like to share my experience. The faculty members in my department are knowledgeable and supportive, always encouraging students to excel academically and practically. They bring real-world experience into the classroom, making learning more engaging and industry-oriented. The quality of teaching is excellent, with a good mix of theoretical concepts and hands-on training. The department organizes workshops, mock drills, and industry interactions, which help us gain practical exposure. The college premises are well-maintained, with good infrastructure, spacious classrooms, and well-equipped labs. However, accessibility to the college can be improved, especially the road conditions leading to the campus. The hostel, mess, and canteen facilities are decent, but there is scope for improvement in food quality and variety. An online payment system in the canteen would also be a useful addition. The non-teaching staff are helpful and cooperative, assisting students with administrative and lab-related matters. Overall, my experience at TIST has been positive. The institution provides a solid foundation for students pursuing a career in safety and fire engineering, and I appreciate the efforts taken by the management & staff for the wellbeing of students.

My time at TocH Institute of Science and Technology (TIST) has been nothing short of incredible. From the very beginning, I actively participated in various events, both technical and cultural, which gave me immense opportunities to grow beyond academics. Being involved in organizing events like Techshila’25 and hosting competitions helped me develop leadership, teamwork, and event management skills. One of the most rewarding aspects of my journey was the encouragement and support from the faculty. Their guidance not only enhanced my technical knowledge but also shaped my perspective on real-world applications. The professors are always approachable, ensuring that students receive the best learning experience, whether in classrooms or through hands-on projects. The vibrant campus life, filled with fests, workshops, and extracurricular activities, made my college days even more special. As an alumna of Toc H, I guarantee that the college provides great exposure to budding engineers and entrepreneurs. From my experience of being a student of the Department of Information Technology, the faculties were very supportive and had helped in creating a range of skills that were crucial in my career.
