Had such a nice time here, the store is all Canadian and they have the most cute and friendly cat, the staff were always every friendly from my first visit to now, loved my experience and will be coming back.

I am extremely dissatisfied with my experience at this store. I came in looking for a fish tank, accessories, and possibly more fish. The service was horrible from the start. The employee who initially helped me barely attended to me, left me alone after giving me some brief information about the fish. didn’t say anything just left. When he decided to come back I asked about the fish tanks, he showed me a small one. I mentioned I was looking for something bigger like around 10 gallons, he said they had this one there brought it out looked at the price said its on sale for $69 and started listing off all that it came with it which seemed like a great deal. While I was looking at the box & everything that was included I turned to ask a question, but no was there, he disappeared again without a word. I was left alone, feeling ignored. I waited, and waited then found him assisting another customer. So I asked another employee about their closing time, she mentioned it was 8 PM, said they also deliver within the local area for free, but outside of 2-3 blocks it would be around $40. I said ok im going to go home becaue I am not in the local area a bit further out, going to put my dog away and grab something to carry the tank in. I went home which is not close all the way to North York by public transportation. I got my dolly so I can carry the fish tank in and made my way back to their store, in the cold (-10) in public transportation. Excited to get the tank, I was met with an awful surprise. The original employee grabbed the tank, peeled the price tag off, and went to tell his coworker something. Shortly after his coworker came to me say oh that the $69 price isn't the actual price, it wasn't correct. The actual price was $169 that the number had erased—what the hell? I was shocked. The employee had specifically sold me on the $69 price, reading it off the box and saying what a good deal it was. I checked it myself it said $69, heck that’s why I came all the way back in the cold (-10) with a dolly on public transportation! It was an exhausting and cold trip, only to be lied to. Like some kind of scam. I asked to speak with the owner, but I was told they were away on a trip. I insisted on contacting them, not sure who they contacted because they didnt allow me to speak to them and came back and offered me a 20% discount instead of letting me speak with the owner. I left feeling completely disrespected, frustrated, and manipulated. To sell someone a product at one price that was on the box, then say it’s actually a different much higher price, that the number erased, is not only unprofessional but dishonest. I don’t know what kind of scam they are running.

We tried this place out for grooming after a series of terrible grooming experiences. Jessica is an absolute gem. She definitely made our dogs feel really comfortable because everytime they see her, they'll happily follow alongside her and would never look back at us. Not only does she provide a comfortable environment for the dogs, she does a tremendous job when it comes to bathing and trimming over the years (pictures as references). Apart from grooming, I like how Pet Cuisine's supplies are narrowed down to only decent pet brands, but still has a great variety of it. Their staff for pet needs are always so helpful, and they'd go out of their way to help you if something you wanted here is soldout. Theodore and George (the store's cats) are a big plus to visit too! Hands down my favourite pet store in our local area.
