I will share what has happened with me. I know they will simply answer that it was mentioned extra changes or custom charges are exclusion but they will never say that their staff (Hijaz and Aireen) explicitly said to me that I DON’T NEED TO PAY ANYTHING TO THE AGENT in CANADA and I have enough screenshots as a evidence. Everyone has good and bad reviews but trust me.. the time, stress i faced with them is really horrible. They hardly respond and they dont care about customers because they know that customer left UAE so now it is their problem. I have been tirelessly trying to recover the 900 CAD that was unjustly taken from me due to misleading information provided by an elite cargo company. 1. Cargo Delays: My shipment from the UAE to Canada was significantly delayed. 2. Unexpected Charges: Upon arrival in Canada, the agent demanded an additional 900 CAD for customs charges, despite being assured that no further payments would be required. When I questioned this, I was told to address the issue with your UAE office. Who said it's a surprise and I'll need to pay it to get my stuff. 3. Lack of Communication: I repeatedly contacted Elite regarding my items being held in Canada, as I was concerned about accruing daily storage fees. It took nearly 14 days and multiple emails and calls before I received any response. 4. Assurances Given: I was repeatedly assured by Elite that no payments would be necessary in Canada. I have evidence of this assurance. I did mentioned that custom or duty charges but they said no sir you DONT NEED TO PAY ANYTHING . 5. Additional Charges: Despite the promises made, Elite later suggested that I would incur additional storage charges if I did not retrieve my belongings from their Canadian partner, leaving me in an extremely difficult position. 6. Misleading Information on Customs Charges: Although I never signed any contract, I was shown a quotation and assured that customs charges will not happen and that I wouldn’t have to pay anything further, all is covered. 7. Damaged Goods: Several of my items, including a children's scooter, a chair, and a toy kitchen (Toy r us worth 500 AED) set were damaged during transit. When I raised this issue, I was told that because I did not purchase insurance, the damage was my responsibility which means they have free hand to throw my items. 8. Forced Payment: I reluctantly paid the 900 CAD to avoid additional storage charges. However, I later discovered that one of my boxes was left behind in the UAE. 9. Delayed Delivery: The missing box was only delivered to me nine months after I had already left Canada. Had I known there would be additional costs, I would have reconsidered using their services. It is your call but trust me.. i had spent days, months and hours of their lack of communication and false promises more than what my cargo cost. Their staff even mentioned that half of the charges will be paid by their management but again it it was false statement abd they have not yet me paid the half.

I used Elite Shipping for relocating from Dubai to the Philippines, and it was great! Everything, from start to finish, was handled well.
