Located right off of the NS-PEI ferry terminal, a must visit spot for some fresh seafood! We ordered the lobster roll & 2 pc fish and chips - both were phenomenal. The lobster roll had lots of lobster and you can tell it was very fresh. The fish & chips were perfectly cooked, crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. Great intro to the PEI food scene!

Treena’s is a local restaurant much loved by Islanders. Located alongside the Ferry entrance in Wood Islands, PEI it serves a wide variety of seafood dishes, including “Where Islanders Eat” top five chowders on PEI. Locals are always dropping by for Treena’s fish croquettes (with amazing mustard pickles!), chowder, lobster mac ‘n cheese and traditional Island food. They have 7 picnic tables for their diners. And offer to-go for home or your ferry trip. We love Treena and her food!

First time visiting PEI, stayed in Wood Islands. This was our last dinner out, and we’re so happy to experience Treena’s, everything was unbelievable. Best chowder in PEI, Lobster Roll was amazing, the lobster Poutine and chicken & fish Sandwiches were awesome! The bread pudding and butter tarts were unbelievable!! The service was superb as well!! Hope we get to come back one day!!

The portions are huge — you definitely won’t leave hungry! The chowder was absolutely the best I’ve ever had. The fish and chips was a little too oily for my taste, but the flavor was still excellent. Overall, great food and a wonderful experience!
