Trident Transport

I am starting to get a really bad feeling about the load that I am on,I arrived on time for my delivery & am being told its for tomorrow night & not today,my rate con has today's date & time,I have tried calling in? mailed the broker,so far no one has answered,I will keep posting as this develops. I had to stay an extra day to finish this load,I received zero help & zero communication from Trident,they never acknowledged anything,trying to call the pos broker got me nowhere,emails never got answered,this is a very shitty broker to work for,do not book loads with them,they lied to get the load out & lied on the rate con for the date of the appointment,I verified this with the receiver,this is blatant theft of my day,I cannot put into words the frustration & stress that this caused me,it caused me the loss of a day with no pay. update, I reached out to their head office,I will say that I am impressed how quickly they resolved this matter,I got paid for a layover,this was very professionally done,I will recommend them based on how this ended,thanks.

such a waste for that big company... they are not responding to anything, tried to book with them couple of times, 2 out of 2 loads problems and not reachable, they are not confirming anything, so the risk is big without the money... no afterhours, avoid at any cost, really no good, every single one is better than them, fake appointments days before, don't waste your time and money in this bad market.

We have run multiple loads with Trident Transport, LLC of Chattanooga, TN multiple times through-out the years, but these latest few loads have been an absolute nightmare. Chicago, IL to Ocoee, FL We picked up a load at McCormick Convention Center in Chicago, IL on 7/17/25 and prior to booking the load we advised we would need fifty per hour after two hours for detention as well as any accessorial costs reimbursed, to which the broker agreed and said it's standard. As per usual, McCormick requires to check in at a Marshalling Yard where you are charged a parking fee, as well as scale ticket fee's before and after loading. We were at the shipper from 0940 AM till 1700, at around 1140 AM we advised we are entering detention and the broker responded to submit all paperwork when loaded and he will send the revised rate confirmation with detention. As soon as we were loaded we submitted the parking receipt, scale receipts, and BOL with in & out times. After delivery we once again asked for the revised rate confirmation, asked daily for over a month for the revised with no communication and nobody would answer our calls from that team. Finally we got through to someone almost 2 months later and were advised that the customer refused to pay detention and that, "this shipper doesn't have any fees, so its our fault for the parking and scale fee's and those costs are on us." Over two months of constant emails and phone calls from our side and there is zero response or communication from theirs, then they violate our agreement and blame us for the fee's acquired at the shipper. This is an absolutely despicable tactic to bait carriers in to doing Convention center loads. It brings shame to all those reputable and honest companies and brokers in the industry, this kind of unprofessionalism and fraud should be reprimanded immediately. Port Wentworth, GA to Plano, IL Picked up the load on 8/18/25 and delivered on time on 8/19/25. We sat at the receiver from 0855 to 1708 and ever since the delivery it has been an absolute nightmare to get ahold of anyone. Once again, once the load delivers they put you on the backburner and ignore you to do their best to avoid paying any detention or fees. As of 9/29/25 Trident owes us 11 hours of total detention on these two loads and for parking and scale fees!!!! AVOID AT ALL COSTS, SAVE YOUR MONEY AND SANITY! THIS KIND OF BEHAVIOR AND UNPROFESSIONALISM DOES NOT BELONG IN THIS INDUSTRY AND SHOULD NOT BE ALLOWED TO PROFIT OFF OF YOUR HARD WORK!!! Sebastian Transrapid Inc. MC 728901
