Customer experiences
I have been doing Bikram for many years. Took a long break and I’m back. My body is thanking me! Moved closer to New Haven and joined True Bikram. The studio is nice and hot and clean. Robin and Joyce are excellent instructors who corrected my form. I love that! These little tweaks make all the difference. Plenty of classes to choose from. I highly recommend True Bikram to new and seasoned Bikram practitioners alike.
This studio has been around for 20 years for a reason: it's a fantastic place to practice original Bikram yoga. The studio is clean and welcoming. I've been practicing for 12 years, and the yoga speaks for itself. The yoga room here is kept at the perfect temperature/humidity for a challenging yet beginner-friendly practice and classes are led by experienced teachers. I especially loved the class taught by Robin, the studio owner of 18 years. The space is also equipped with private changing areas and showers. I even rehydrated after class with a freshly pressed juice. The studio itself is in the basement of the building, but there are plenty of signs to direct you once you're buzzed in the entrance. I'm so happy this community exists here in New Haven, and I can't wait to come back!
Vibes are great, instructing is terrific, I really appreciate the feedback provided by the teacher during class
I went to one class and didn't come back because I was not a fan of the atmosphere or the instruction. However, I do think the rest of the staff & the idea of the business is great and has a lot of potential to keep growing! I've gone to hot yoga for several years and was looking for somewhere to practice while I was in grad school in New Haven. The studio is in the basement, has bad lighting, and could overall use a revamp. I don't really even mind that it's in the basement, it was mainly just that the studio really could use a facelift. My instructor did not seem very happy to be there - I get that everyone has bad days but it made me lose focus. I think if I had a different instructor + they made the studio a little less dingy, this would be a five star review. In the end, the way a studio looks is not very important - but it definitely did influence me not returning.
True Bikram Yoga is a estúdio de ioga.
