I had my graduation party at this restaurant, and it was my first time visiting. Even though I’m not usually a big fan of Turkish-Mediterranean cuisine, I was genuinely surprised by how delicious everything was. The food exceeded all my expectations! The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive. We had some elderly guests in our group, and the team was so kind and accommodating toward them—it really meant a lot. I had an amazing experience at Sahara’s Turkish Cuisine! The soup, Iskender kebab and Gyro were incredibly flavorful, with the kebab perfectly tender and rich in taste. We also tried an appetizer platter, which was fresh, well-seasoned, and beautifully presented. To end the meal, the baklava with tea was absolutely perfect flaky, sweet, and a great complement to the tea. The service was excellent, with a warm and welcoming staff that made the experience even better. Highly recommend this place for delicious Turkish food in NYC! Can’t wait to come back!
