Customer experiences
An incredible eating experience. We sat at the chefs table watching the team prep the dinner. The food was honestly excellent and stands up to every Michelin restaurant I have been lucky enough to visit. The mussels pasta starter and cod mains were incredible. Seriously good, would 100% visit again. Servers and team were friendly and welcoming
We’ve been blessed to eat in some amazing places around the world and Twelve ranks easily in our top 5. Tonight we were looked after by Executive Chef Hannah Ryder and her team as we sat at the chefs table. The kitchen ran like clockwork and was so fascinating to watch as we had the best seats in the house to watch the line. The food was just sublime. Everything was just phenomenal. The vegetarian dishes (amuse and asparagus) reminded us of Michelin star De Kas in Amsterdam. High praise. My cod was on par with my favorite Artic Char I had in Iceland as best fish dish ever. The Lobster Roll served in an homemade croissant was so sweet and juicy. Maine is going to ruin me for lobster. My husbands beef was so good and we watched chef prepare it directly so we saw how much care was taken. My dessert had me reminiscing for times gone with a modern take on île flottante, Floating Island. I’m a sucker for meringue anything and this was so silky. Perfect. Anyway Michelin ⭐️ will be on its way soon. Spectacular 10/10 If you are in Portland, budget in a visit. You will not regret it.
From the first bite, my taste buds were taken on a foodies dream. I have always wanted to try a fancy multiple course restaurant, but i never thought my mind would be blown. The food was amazing, such fresh ingredients. The muscles were my favorite, creamy, homemade pasta, i give this 1000 out of 10. Must go place to eat in Portland maine.
My husband and I dined here on our last night in Portland after a week long trip along the coast. We did the prix fixe along with the elevated wine pairing. We subbed the dessert for an additional appetizer. We were blown away by every course! Each dish was elegant and decadent. Some of our favorite bites were the tuna crudo (melts in your mouth ), mussels and the broccolini. Serving sizes were well portioned for a tasting menu and the wine pairings were excellent. Very special and memorable meal in our books!
Twelve is a restaurant.
