Went on this past weekend for my husband's birthday for the first time. Absolutely delicious!!! Didnt know what to expect but had heard great things. From the app to dessert everything was layered and packed with all kinds of flavors that I never would've thought of. They pair so nicely together. To the point that mt husband said " i feel like a new man" The service was wonderful. Chef Dan is the man and his whole team!

Absolutely an amazing place to eat!!! Chef Dan and team were top notch!! Shout out to Chef Trish who we had the pleasure of watching prepare all our food right in front of us….our table was located beside the kitchen!!! What a great dinning experience! We had a shellfish and gluten allergy at our table and Chef Dan took care of us, being right beside the kitchen we even got to hear the chefs talking and making sure our needs were addressed. We will be back!!

Dinner for 4. I heard about twisted lemon numerous times and finally made it out. What a gem! It is a drive sure, but unlike GTA the drive is nice and not too bad. The building and inside it like the name quaint and lovely. Very very friendly service. Explained patiently and very flowery all the cocktails, menu and specials. the distilled clear cocktails are something else and cud's to them to support HHS McMaster Children's. Food, apps steak tartar, fois gras, duck tacos, all excellent flavourfull and just great apps to enjoy. Mains, Boar, which was so delicious perfectly cooked, the flavour and sides were just wonderful. The pork belly and scallops similarly so much flavour, perfectly cooked. Deserts were chocolate peanut butter and chocolate chip cookie ice cream. Perfect ending for a great meal. Overall, wonderful food experience, and the price to food ratio was great hence 5 stars. Will I bye back?? Absolutely yes.

We reserved a table and we were given the chef’s pass right by the kitchen. I highly recommend this as you get to see all the action in the kitchen. The owner and chef, Dan was so pleasant and extremely welcoming. Rion also assisted in preparing our meal tonight and it was out of this world a literal 10 out of 10. This is my favourite restaurant ever!!!! I highly recommend it for the best meal, service and atmosphere. Our waitress, Jen was super sweet and knowledgeable!!! Definitely will be back with friends.
