I wish I had found this store years before I did. My snowshoe cat had severe allergies to foods which presented as chronic ear infections. I found this store which had PLENTY of high grade foods to accommodate my cat. Staff were so welcoming and friendly they helped me choose a perfect new dry food for my Buddy. Fast forward 6 months of specific foods and his ear infections were cured! Shortly after this we caught a terminal lymphoma diagnosis. I went in for one more food haul, letting the clerk know of my concern in actually using the food. After they learned my baby was dying they started throwing complimentary items at me. Wishing me well and welcoming any unopened returns if he didn't make it. Buddy lasted exactly one more week. The love and support from the Petagogy store meant everything to me in the time of need. I ran into Petagogy trying to find something palatable for my senior dog that wasn’t eating her normal kibble. I felt overwhelmed at the available choices, but Rachael helped me break down what I needed and then gave me options. She told me about their generous return policy and offered some other suggestions. I’m thrilled to report that my dog happily ate the new food when I got home. I had to hand feed her (also recommended by Rachael to try), as she seemed resistant to the bowl she’s always eaten from. I am so happy that Petagogy came to the South Hills and will be back regularly. Navigating the pet food options can be intimidating but doesn’t need to be when you have help from a great group of people working there.
