Dr.Kal and the Southdale Dental team are amazing ! Having a phobia of dentists and needles, Dr. Kal has made the appointments painless and quick. The ladies at the front desk are always so nice and helpful. After trying a few dentists who fueled my phobia, Southdale Dental has a patient for life!

I came in little late at 2:15 for my appointment getting a reminder call that it was for 1:50. I was asked to fill out the forms, then was examined and told I had a heavy buildup that would require multiple one-hour scaling sessions. At reception, I asked for the total cost of scaling. They gave me a receipt of scaling charges. Upon asking if that amount is for one session or does it includes all the sessions you asked me to take, the other person sitting at front desk switched to Hindi assuming I didn’t understand English. Later, she came back saying I would only need one cleaning session — contradicting the earlier “multiple sessions” explanation. Despite sending my insurance details in advance, they had no record of it. After I reminded them, they took it, and it covered 80%. Still, they handed me the debit machine without explaining the charges or giving a receipt until I asked. Overall, there was a lot of confusion, poor communication, and inconsistent information about the number of sessions and costs. The dentist himself was really nice, but too much confusion and lack of communication amongst the assistants was really frustrating. Pathetic front desk staff!!!!

Chose this dentist for myself and my family after moving to London from Toronto. They’ve been very thorough with treatment and have pleasant bedside manner. They direct bill insurance which is extremely helpful for us and allow us to maintain good oral health without having to struggle to pay upfront for care. Highly recommend!

I’ve been going to Dr. Ali for years, and the staff is always amazing—professional, friendly, and Dr. Ali is incredibly gentle. I recently got my first cavity and was nervous about the freezing needle, but Dr. Ali was so gentle that I didn’t feel a thing. He’s truly a pro, and I couldn’t be happier with the care I receive here
