Booked an enclosed trailer online, when i got there they blew away all my expectations. These guys are super friendly and even hooked it all up for me. 5/5 stars even tho these boys really deserve 10 stars. If u are looking for friendly, definitely worth driving the extra mile for.

My experience with U-Haul in the past has been smooth but this experience was the worse. I had a lot of run around, going to multiple locations to pick up equipment that was clearly available at one location. When I arrived at 2830 Wilma Rudolph Blvd location, the manager Chris Thomas was a life saver. I ended up at this location to pick up the car transport unbeknownst to me had also been booked by another customer. Chris was logistically amazing and called another store that also had a car transporter that was available, he made them aware of my situation Which was in conflict with another customer that had also rented the same equipment on the same day but just different times. Chris was able to work it out so that I was able take the available car transporter from his location and the other customer was too able to get their transporter too. There aren’t many managers let alone Customer Service reps that would have gone to that length or put the energy in to helping myself and another customer out at the same time. I highly recommend this location because if you have any issues, Chris and his team will do what they need to do as a team and make it happen. Thank you so much!!!! I would not have made it to my destination on time without Chis’ help!

Subject: Complaint Regarding unpleaset Experience at U-Haul Location – Request to Speak with Manager I’m writing to formally express my frustration and disappointment with the experience I had at your location, today Memorial day. I initially called to make a reservation and spoke with Jakai. When I arrived around 10:30 AM, I was assisted by James, who was professional, respectful, and apologetic throughout the entire process. After completing my paperwork, Jakai informed me that I had to return the truck by 7 PM the same day. I questioned this, referencing U-Haul’s 24-hour rental policy. In response, Jakai dismissed the concern and told James to “just press next.” His tone quickly became rude and unprofessional. Shortly after, Jakai stepped outside, called James on the phone, and began yelling at him—loud enough for me to hear. He claimed I was a “walk-in” and insisted I couldn’t do this or that, which was confusing and upsetting, especially since James was clearly trying to handle things correctly. After I had already signed and paid, Jakai told James to switch my truck. He refused to give me a new contract for the new truck, which caused issues with the system and prevented me from using the link to upload the required photos. I went back in to request a new link, and Jakai finally printed a new contract but then said it was not possible to proceed with the update. I asked James to cancel the reservation, but he said he wasn’t authorized to issue a refund. I was told I had to take the truck or I would lose my money. There was no manager available in the store to escalate the situation. Eventually, I contacted U-Haul customer service directly, explained everything, and they were able to contact the store and extend my return time to 11 AM the next day. This experience was incredibly stressful and unprofessional. I would appreciate the opportunity to speak with a manager about what happened. I will not be using this location again.
