Our experience with U-Haul was excellent thanks to Seth Bruce, the manager who went above and beyond to help my family. He personally completed our reservation, located the trailer for us right on-site so we didn’t have to drive to another city, and took the time to show us how everything worked. He even looked up the exact stops along our route where we could purchase the safety chains we needed for the trip. Seth was incredibly kind, patient, and professional! He made sure every single detail was taken care of. Thanks to his help, our trip started smoothly ☺️ We’re very grateful for his outstanding service and highly recommend this U-Haul location!

I couldn't have been more please with the people and service this U-Haul location provided. Honest and forth coming on cost, services and what to expect. They went above and beyond with a situation that we had. Kind, courteous, understanding and helpful. They made things easier in a stressful time. We all know how much fun moving is and when something goes wrong - knowing that you have a team like this behind you to work with you. This was the worst U-Haul experience I’ve ever had. We made a confirmed reservation at 11:00 AM for a 2:30 PM pickup. At 2:14 PM—just minutes before arrival—we received a text saying the truck was no longer available. When we arrived, Seth and his staff blamed the U-Haul system for not updating their inventory, admitting they never had the truck or trailer in the first place. They redirected us to another location 10 miles away, doubling the time needed for our job. Despite having four hours to notice the issue, they waited until the last minute to inform us. To make matters worse, we saw a truck key hanging under “reserved,” yet were told it was for someone else. Clearly, our “reservation” meant nothing. This location is disorganized, unprofessional, and unreliable.

Dangerous Trucks, Poor Customer Service, and Unfair Charges – Do Better, U-Haul! I recently rented a truck from U-Haul, and it turned into a nightmare. While driving on the highway, I realized the truck was extremely difficult to control. Concerned, I pulled over to check the tires and discovered they were completely worn out, with no tread left. Unfortunately, it was too late to return the truck because it was already loaded, so I had no choice but to drive slowly and cautiously to avoid an accident. It was a terrifying experience. When I returned the truck, the U-Haul staff inspected the tires and were shocked. They admitted the truck should have been “downed” and never rented out in such unsafe condition. They promised to look into who allowed this but never followed up with me. Adding insult to injury, I was later hit with citation fees for using toll lanes. I was never informed toll lane usage was restricted with the truck. I’m happy to pay the toll fees, but the extra citations feel excessive and unfair—especially since I was forced to drive an unsafe vehicle. U-Haul needs to take responsibility for maintaining their vehicles and providing clear communication to customers. My experience was not just inconvenient—it was dangerous. I would not recommend renting from this location until serious changes are made. Photo of the tire attached for proof.
