We are very thankful for trainer Joe Cruz and the staff at Ultimate Canine​ for their excellence. Joe help​ed our 3-y/o beagle, whom we rescued in May, take huge leaps forward with his obedience. Our beagle came to us with little to no formal training. We brought our boy to Ultimate Canine for for a 2-week Stay & Train​. Our goal ​was to help him gain confidence and security and learn basic obedience. Mission accomplished! As a professional trainer, Joe was responsive, thorough, knowledgeable, experienced, and caring. Joe was willing to spend the time with us to explain what our boy was learning and how to continue his training at home. Further, the front office staff at Ultimate Canine — including Jared, Rebecca, and Aaron — was very helpful arranging the Stay & Train and helping us feel comfortable with the process. Ultimate Canine is not the least expensive game in town. And you get what you pay for. The lasting results with our happy beagle boy are worth every dime. Thank you, Joe​ and team!​ Excellent!

I highly recommend Carissa as a trainer. She did at home sessions for our newly adopted shepherd mix puppy to help jumpstart her training. After just a few sessions we have seen massive improvement on things like recall, jumping up, and mouthing. She is easy to work with and very good at explaining what she is doing and why she is doing it.

Ultimate Canine was recommended by my breeder. I did some research & finally decided I would try Ultimate Canine for basic training for my new puppy. They exceeded my expectations. Joe Cruz is absolutely amazing. I can’t say enough great things about him. Not only did I come away with a trained dog, but a better understanding of my dog’s behavior & how to communicate with her in a way that she understands. I decided on private lessons & we had a mix of lessons at the facility, at my home & out in public to learn how to handle my dog in various distracting situations. I feel much more confident as a leader for my dog. He even helped me with my 10 year old dog that would bark nonstop at anything passing by on the sidewalk. He absolutely blew my mind at how quickly he developed a rapport with my older dog who is absolutely terrified of strangers. Joe went above & beyond in spending time explaining things & working with me in a way I would understand. I never felt rushed or never felt like he was in a hurry. He spent extra time with me despite having a full schedule multiple different times. He truly cares about people & their dogs. It shows in everything he does. I also wanted to thank Rebecca & Jared at the front desk. I spoke with them initially & I know I was very sleep deprived & feeling very overwhelmed with a new puppy. Thank you for being so patient with me as a figured out what kind of training I wanted to pursue. We might get another puppy next year & I will definitely use Ultimate Canine if we do. First of all, everyone at Ultimate Canine was so pleasant and accommodating to work with. They were very willing to answer all my questions and talk me through the different options they have for dog training. We had expected to do all in-home training sessions, but we had some unexpected things come up that ended up making our lives more chaotic than we had originally planned when we got our puppy. We decided that doing the stay and train program would be a better fit for our needs. Our cavalier king charles spaniel puppy, Nella, was at Ultimate Canines for two weeks receiving training with Tyler, who did a fantastic job. You can tell through conversations with Tyler that he loves what he’s doing and he really knows and understands dogs, their behaviors, and how to handle them. He was so patient and did a great job with my three kids. We wanted Nella to learn basic manners. Tyler gave her a great foundation and more. We were amazed with what he accomplished with her in just a couple of weeks. Now that she is home, we are able to continue to reinforce what she learned and fine tune the training to fit our needs. It’s going really well. Tyler continues to be helpful when we have questions and need any guidance on how to continue the training. Nella was a good, sweet puppy before she went to Ultimate Canine, but she came home to us even more well behaved and a lot calmer, like she received an extra boost of puppy trust and confidence. We would 100% recommend Tyler and Ultimate Canines to anyone looking for a trainer. It was definitely worth the investment!
