Umbra Store

Service is a mess. No one knows the return or exchange policy for in store and online. Apparently if you buy something online, then you can only do an online store credit. But if you buy something in store, then you have to stick with in store only. I used to like going here to buy jeans, but it’s not even worth it. Just go across the store to Holt Renfrew where there’s actual sales going on as well and their return policy is flexible.

Whenever I’m in Toronto, I make a point of stopping at Rainbow. I live 4 hours away. It’s absolutely worth the trip! The staff are always courteous, knowledgeable, and provide excellent service. The store consistently has a fantastic selection and quality brands that never disappoint. Truly one of the best shopping experiences in the city. Highly recommend!

I used to love this store and would always come here for jeans and other clothes. I even know the owner! But after my recent visit, I’m really disappointed. When I walked in, there was a girl at the front, seemingly glued to her phone. I asked for help, and she told me to go to the back of the store where other staff would assist me. I went, but there was no one there. So, I went back to the front and asked her again if anyone else could help. She was still on her phone! She finally said she’d come help me, but the whole experience felt dismissive and totally ignored. It’s a shame because I really liked this store, but the customer service has seriously declined. I even took a picture of the employee because I was so frustrated. Definitely not the shopping experience I’m used to here.
