ScottBought an Uniden BW6101R Baby Monitor, and have used it for 3 months. Camera runs hot, and the battery life of the camera is average. Had a discrepancy of up to 10 degrees Celsius for room temp, and now got issues with the camera deciding when it wants to work on 240v power, or if it wants to work on the battery and cut out once the battery dies from 30mins-2hrs, whilst permanently plugged into 240v. Customer Service require us to send the camera to them to look at, and go without a monitor for up to 10 business days + postage time while they determine if it can be fixed or if it needs to be replaced… No consideration on child safety or our anxieties in the meantime, which is terrible! Other companies are happy to replace a defect camera instantly, no questions asked. Due to your undesirable warranty procedure, you’ve lost a customer for all Uniden equipment. We have now purchased another brand.
Angelo BocchinoUniden phones require a "Service Plan" (subscription or account) for their phones to operate. Wish i read the reviews before buying anything from these guys. They don't provide refunds or returns if you open the package. Doesn't matter if you buy through 3rd party stores or anywhere. Customer service is non-existing.
