Chicken and incredible service make this the first stop on the line for Union Station. Dined here in the evening and enjoyed every minute of it because the delicious dishes were supported and lifted by the incredible customer service I’ve rarely seen in the last 5 years. All the staff should be commended and treasured because they showed they care and put so much effort into treating their guests with kindness and attentiveness. There was many times where different employees came to check up on the table, clear away empty dishes and ask how we liked the food. They were on top of everything the entire time. The food shines with its seasoned dishes and perfectly cooked chicken. The short ribs were delicious with a splash of lemon, bringing a bright, savoury taste. The buffalo chicken sandwich (with coleslaw) was absolutely amazing, perfectly breaded and cooked and wasn’t overpowered by the buffalo and blue cheese. It balanced the flavours well and delighted the palette. The coleslaw side wasn’t overly wet but tangy and paired well. The restaurant itself felt like stepping into a hip, vibrant eatery. You can’t believe you’re in union station. Definitely stop here before heading to the train platform. I know I will again and again.

Located in Union Station, Union chicken is everything chicken, from burgers to ribs and poutine, they've got it all The service was exceptional and their prices are reasonable. Their chicken and waffles along with their sandwiches are popular. In the few times ive been, the food and experience have been consistent

Stopped by Union Chicken for a quick bite before catching my train, and it turned out to be a pretty good choice. The restaurant is located right inside Union Station, so very convenient if you’re commuting or just passing through. I ordered sweet and spicy fried chicken sandwich — it was crispy and flavourful. Prices are on the higher side for a casual spot, but that’s expected at a location like this. The coleslaw, ordered as a side dish was crunchy, with a light, tangy dressing. It was  more on the creamy side but still felt refreshing — not too heavy or sweet. A nice contrast to the richness of the fried chicken, and a good side if you're looking for something lighter than fries. The service was relatively quick, even though the place was fairly busy. If you’re looking for a reliable bite before your train or while downtown, it’s a solid pick.

I have always wanted to try this place so after a full day of traveling and ending up in Union I thought it was the perfect time. It’s unfortunate that after spending 30+ for a half chicken meal I ended up eating the chicken only because the fries were completely inedible. To be fair the chicken was okay but the fries were full of oil and very hard, not sure how the servers could honestly pack that and give someone. Why am I buying food to come home and throw some of it out right off the bat? It’s just fries but I believe in a fair exchange, in which, this was not.

Union Chicken is a chicken restaurant.
