Unique Wholesale

I don't return to spaces where I am followed and disrespected. I am giving two stars instead of one because you can always find a good deal. They always have masks in stock. I was a regular and I never judged the look, organization or customer service harshly. I had an exchange today that really left a bad taste in my mouth. I went in, spent thirty bucks then came back in to find trash bags. I walked up to a table with items . I soon noticed there was caution tape around it so I was sure not to touch anything or get too close . I saw a lamp that held my interest. Before I could find the name on the lamp or get info that would help me find a similar one - a lady who I had checked out with previously was staring me down and told me nothing was for sale on that table. I told her I wasn’t touching anything or planning to buy, but I wanted to get the name of the lamp bc it could help with health stuff and I wanted to look it up. I told her I was just *looking*. She told me that I couldn’t even LOOK at dang lamp !! I thought to myself - yeah ok - then i turned back around to look but i started to feel bad . i am a respect your elder type person. So then, I went up to her respectfully and said "ma’am I truly mean no disrespect. I just want to look on the box to find the name." She told me I was being disrespectful . So I left the store. I won’t be back. i go to this store and spend money every time i do laundry and now looking at something from a distance forbidden? i saw another review on here talking about a rude person following them around so I guess they are making this a practice.

This was my first visit, and I liked what I saw. I really enjoyed the music they were playing, and about 75% of the staff greeted me, which made me feel welcome. I wanted to buy some food, but I wasn't thrilled with the expiration dates. Perhaps they have food or other products that don't have expiration dates, but the ones I wanted did. This wholesale place reminds me of a store called Big Lots. Anyway, I can see myself coming back, but I'll have to budget because I can see this store taking all my money. It's advertised as free to the public, but I was trying to figure out what the extra $3.99 was for—maybe it was for the wholesale membership, or it's charged every time you shop with them. I wish it was advertised that there would be a fee for shopping here. I liked that this store had enough room for two shopping carts to pass by each other; there was nothing blocking the aisles.

Best Bargains in ATL! I've been shopping here since pre-Pandemic 2020. When other stores had empty shelves, they had quality canned goods, AngelSoft tissue, PEET'S Coffee, personal care items, snacks (chips & chocloate!) laundry detergent, hardware, OTC medicines, lawn/garden, etc. Their pricing has always been ridiculously inexpensive. It was a life-line to many, and still is. Someone commented on expiration dates. I have NEVER bought an item that wasn't fresh. (Fyi, most European countries don't even have those dates.) Most importantly, they have the friendliest, most helpful staff. I feel like I'm visiting family when I go in there. All of the guys are absolutely wonderful, but Ms. Hollis really makes my week! Thank you, Bargain Wholesale, for everything you offer!! (Oh, this location is 1901 Metropolitan Parkway, next to Value Village and Bustin' Suds!😁)
